AMY O'BOYLE

Founder & Chief Strategist

Amy has led a thriving Marketing career in key industries and markets around the world. With over 20 years of experience, Amy has founded O'Boyle Business Consulting to do what she loves most, working with companies, small businesses and non-profits to develop marketing strategies that work for them.

O'Boyle Business Consulting leverages the breadth and depth of Amy O'Boyle's working with Fortune 500 companies developing, executing and managing complex businesses and products. A strategic visionary, Amy helps identify core strengths, market trends and future customer needs that all businesses strive for to achieve Growth. Amy has worked extensively in opening new markets, channels, technologies and services around the globe. Her experience across so many diverse industries, markets, products and solutions, give her a unique ability to provide perspective when working with her clients.

Amy has earned 2 MBA degrees in Global Business from Thunderbird and the Tec of Monterey (Mexico) and her undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University in Business Administration.

 

Prior to starting O'Boyle Business Consulting in 2017, Amy most recently was employed by Eaton Corporation, where she was Director of Aftermarket for the $500M North American business, Vehicle Group. Amy was responsible for all aftermarket product lines and channel management, independent and OEM aftermarket, field support and sales. Amy also held several positions of product management and global leadership of progressing responsibility while at Eaton. Under Amy's leadership, the organization launched several new aftermarket products for the domestic market and expanded into Europe and Central/South America to markets previously unserved.

 

Prior to Eaton, Amy worked at Motorola in product management and was involved in the early work of transforming support activities into a paid service solutions model. Extensive solutions development, branding, establishing evidence based value were paramount to gaining customer confidence and driving revenue growth. Amy's cross-functional work drove the creation of significant improvements to supporting Motorola's two way telecommunications networks for system uptime, remote diagnostics & restoral, and customer experience.

 

Prior to Motorola, Amy was employed by YUM! Brands in Mexico, where she was based. Responsible for segment development focused on increasing the penetration of the young adult market for KFC, the largest fast food chain in Mexico at the time, Amy launched several menu options such as sandwiches, ice cream, chicken strips and the Original Recipe relaunch in the race against the fast food giants entering the market. Spending a total of 7 years in Mexico, Amy is now fully fluent in Spanish. 

 

Amy, her husband and kids enjoy participating in multiple sporting and community events, and spending time at Michigan's beautiful lakes in their free time.
